如何从Client为VMWare ESX安装新的VM

VMWare ESX安装新的VM有很多方式。通常状况下，我们会在从Client安装OS，我们需要设定虚拟机从Client的CD-ROM或ISO文件启动。为此我们需要做特殊的设定：

To boot the virtual machine from a client CD-ROM

1. Edit the virtual machine settings under Options > Boot Options.
2. Enter a delay value long enough to enable the console view to stabilize and for you to connect the CD-ROM using the VI Client.
3. Click OK.
4. Open a console to the virtual machine.
5. Power on the virtual machine.
6. While the virtual machine proceeds through its boot sequence, connect your local device, or an ISO image, to the virtual machine's CDROM drive.
• Click Connect to CD/DVD 1
• Choose one of the following options:
• Select Connect to D: to connect your local optical drive.
• Select Connect to ISO image to open a file browser where you can navigate to the image you want.
